Am about to start work on a model of Munari's Stratos that he won the '77 Monte Carlo with.

I have decided to add figures for Munari and his co-driver. I know from the box top that the co-driver (S.Maiga) wore a red full-face, but what did Munari use.

I have found a photo where Munari has a blue helmet with yellow highlights. Could this be correct?

cheers in advance

Yes, the bottom part of his full face is blue and there is a fairly wide yellow band all around the"window". As for the top, who knows? - even someone of Munari's slighter stature (compared to Alen, Waldegard etc.) had to drive a Stratos with head jammed against the roof!
Co-driver on San Remo 77 is wearing plain white full face but that may have been Sodano by then rather than Silvio Maiga? Most other photos readilly to hand are of earlier years with Mannucci or are black and white. (and I would have been somewhere near the back of the field when Munari was competing in UK, rather than watching, so would never have seen top crews wearing their helmets).

His helmet was blue with a yellow band, in a similar style to that of Cyd Williams;

Where Cyd's is orange Munari's is yellow, and where Cyd's is black (or possibly very dark blue or green) Munari's is blue.

Co-driver Maiga did indeed wear an all-red full-face helmet on the '77 Monte Carlo.

There is a two-page color picture of the Munari/Maiga Stratos on the 1977 Monte in "Lancia Corsa", confirming Twinny's info as posted above.

Sandro Munari is about 1.90-meter high (approximately 6.2 feet).

He used this blue-yellow colour scheme (but not a full face helmet) in the early years of his career.
In the 1969 Targa Florio he adopted a new full face helmet, it was white with a big dragon painted over the visor (Sandro Munari was nicknamed by the Italian press and fans as "Drago").

It was a professional painter who decorated the helmet, if I remember well she was Mario Mannucci's wife but I'm not sure. The beautiful helmet was visible, as Munari drove the Lancia Fulvia HF F&M Spider, with team mate Rauno Aaltonen (any picture?)

In 1972, when he was hired by Ferrari to drive with Arturo Merzario, the 312PB at the Madonie circuit, Munari practiced with his old "dragon helmet", but it was was slightly uncomfortable because its size was too small. So he switched to a new all-white full face helmet with only red-and-green small stripes around the visor.

Sandro Munari somewhat earlier - in the winning Ferrari 312PB, 1972 Targa Florio.

Fabulous pic Doug! One of Geoff's perhaps?

Nanni, I believe that you're wrong regarding the helmet liveries used by Munari and Maiga on the '77 Monte Carlo. Here are [cropped areas of] two photos of the duo on the rally in question;
