I am researching the history of this car with the aim of it being restored to its original spec and colour scheme. As far as is known it was supplied new to USA for first owner James King finished in white gel coat. What events did he use it in????. It finished up in Canada by 1980(we have logbook from 1980)It was raced at Westwood in 1980 by a driver whose name looks like Aluhein !!! but for 1981 raced by Russell Thompson. Can anyone fill some gaps and supply any photos especially of James King in the car.

I have pics of the car in '76. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have time to dig them out and scan them.
PM or email me and I will let you know when I get to them.
In the meantime, this is my Atlantic set...

Ted, I saw James King race this car in 1976. He won the 1976 Road America June Sprints Formula race in this car. Not only that, but I have three photos of it, one in a pack of cars and two full frame by itself. The car was painted dark green with orange trim. I have sent you an e mail to your ferret address.

Contact me: I have now got most of the history for this car. The name before Thompson in the log book should be Mark Akerstream
If so, Bob McGregor had it in 1978 and we can trace back from there.
