I debated putting this in the Women Drivers thread, but felt it would get more attention as a standalone topic.

Does anyone know any biographical information about Hazel Dunham? She was (is?) the daughter of Gerry Dunham, active in both circuit racing and rallying in the 1950s. She was pretty nifty in both arenas, earning a string of Coupes des Dames in international rallies in 1952, driving a Rover. On the circuits, she won a couple of races, in cars including Gerry's AC. Her race results are easy to get hold of, but anything more than that is proving very elusive. I'd like to write a post about her for Speedqueens, but it's hard going.

Is she still with us? Was her sudden disappearance from the scene down to retirement, or (as I suspect), did she marry someone and compete for a while under another name?

Also, I've only ever seen one picture of her, which is of part of her face, and in any case, appears to be mis-labelled, as the lady in question looks very like Nancy Mitchell.

As ever, any information will be gratefully received.
