Hello,

I am trying to find out more about the 1985 Yamaha rd500lc Formula series held in Italy.It may have also been called the Yamaha SuperTrophy or that may have been a different series in which rd500lc were raced.
I can only find two photos,can anyone identify the riders and tell me more about the series?.

as far as im aware this was only run in 85/86 called the yamaha supertrophy.

hi jackson, yes been a member for a few years now with many a happy rebuild one of the very few bikes i have really enjoyed working on, had my rd for about 18 years now and i swear it will be buried with me!

on further searching it seems this yamaha supertrophy was for all new production bikes in a range of classes like the 500s and fzr400/600 etc.
