Dear friends!

Someone who has access to the lap by lap times for Elio de Angelis from the Australian GP 1985?

It seems that his lap times were removed from the official results after he had been disqualified after 19 laps.

Didn't Autosprint publish a 'Giro per giro al computer' list for the GP's in the mid 1980-ies?

Someone who has that particular issue with the report from the Australian GP in 1985?

Or any other source?

Many thanks!

No unfortunately Autosprint to start posting all round by all from 1987.
and notes well disqualify De Angelis 18 laps.

Non malheureusement AutoSprint à commencer à poster tout les tour par tout à partir de 1987.
et il note bien De Angelis disqualifier 18 tours

At the time I did my turn-myself with my board, my styo and my stopwatch.

gris: 10
lap 1: 9
lap 2: 8
lap 8: 7
lap 11: 6
lap 12: 5
lap 17: box.
I noticed abandoned, but I did not know what was happening

j'ai noté abandon, mais je ne savais pas ce qui se passait

that's what I noticed. I'll scan my turn-based and send it to you if you give me your mail

à l'époque je faisais mon tour par tour moi même avec ma planche, mon styo et mon chronomêtre.

voilà ce que j'ai noté. Je vais scanner mon tour par tour et vous l'envoyer si vous me donne votre mail

Many thanks for your reply Bruno!

Are you sure that Autosprint didn't publish the 'Giro per giro al computer' lists before 1987? I have the n°22 issue from May 29 - June 04 1984 where the lap by lap times from the French GP 1984 are published on pages 26-27.

Looking at the lap charts in both Autocourse 1985-86 and Autosport, November 07 1985, it seems that Elio completed 19 laps before being disqualified and the only lap time available in their race statistics is his 8th lap which was at 1m26,913s.

It would also be helpful if someone has access to the total race time for de Angelis which should be somewhere short of 30 minutes I guess.

My hope is that someone has that Autosprint issue from 1985 with the Australian GP report and hopefully with a giro per giro al computer list published and Elio's times included.

Forix has a lap chart WITH de Angelis
and classifactions at the end of each lap, but WITHOUT de Angelis.
So I can tell you that de Angelis was
8th after 1 lap behind Tambay (1.40,843) in front of Piquet (1.42,822)
8th after 2 laps behind Tambay (+1.30,724=3.11,567) in front of Piquet (+1.30,454=3.13,276)
8th after 3 laps behind Tambay (+1.29,339=4.40,906) in front of Piquet (+1.29,387=4.42,663)
8th after 4 laps behind Tambay (+1.27,869=6.08,775) in front of Piquet (+1.28,066=6.10,729)
8th after 5 laps behind Tambay (+1.28,862=7.37,637) in front of Piquet (+1.27,859=7.38,588)
7th after 6 laps behind Surer (9.03.857) in front of Tambay (+1.29,112=9.06,749)
7th after 7 laps behind Surer (+1.27,614=10.31,471) in front of Tambay (+1.28,020=10.34,769)
7th after 8 laps behind Surer (+1.27,055=11.58,526) in front of Tambay (+1.27,680=12.02,449)
7th after 9 laps behind Surer (+1.28,147=13.26,673) in front of Piquet (13.32,836)
6th after 10 laps behind Surer (+1.29,985=14.56,658) in front of Berger (14.58,282)
6th after 11 laps behind Surer (+1.27,569=16.24,227) in front of Tambay (16.29,517)
5th after 12 laps behind Surer (+1.28,910=17.53,137) in front of Piquet (18.00,177)
5th after 13 laps behind Surer (+1.27,302=19.20,439) in front of Piquet (+1.27,488=19.27,665)
5th after 14 laps behind Surer (+1.26,408=20.46,847) in front of Piquet (+1.28,257=20.55,922)
5th after 15 laps behind Surer (+1.26,916=22.13,763) in front of Lauda (22.32,332)
5th after 16 laps behind Surer (+1.27,493=23.41,256) in front of Lauda (+1.28,352=24.00,684)
5th after 17 laps behind Surer (+1.26,853=25.08,109) in front of Lauda (+1.27,886=25.28,570)
5th after 18 laps behind Prost (26.36,968) in front of Lauda (+1.27,471=26.56,041)
(I hope I did the maths right when I calculated the lap times.)
