Yup. BMW looks good so far. Wickens beat Coulthard and the ladies are out, too. RSC fastest Mercedes in Q1.
Q4 will be fun.

Why they are slower in Q4? What is the point to do Q4 then?

They are on used tyres.

Yayoo, that was suspense till the last second. I've enjoyed it.

Is it live on ESPN or is it just a rerun?

Delayed highlights at 10:30pm. Serie A takes priority on the live front (not surprisingly!).

All good drivers are with other two manufacturers.

How they could let that happen? Thats going to be a tough season for MB in the DTM.

He is decent but is he on the pair with the likes of Ekstrom, Tomczyk or Spengler?

Well up until last year when he switched from the Abt team, Tomczyk was a bit of an also-ran. I'd like to see him replicate his success before I were to be convinced.

I'm worried that they're simply too close in pace to each other. Thats usually a good thing, but when you're only a tenth or two faster than the person in front, you're not going to get any opportunity to pass unless they make a mistake.

Lots of people in the paddock said that they'd need KERS & DRS to overtake :rotfl: It should be even worse than last year.

So is there anywhere we it can be watched Live? ESPN have far too many rights that clash. They need another channel, or put the events that clash on their website, whether the DTM is exciting or not, as Live, 5, 6 hours later isn't good enough.

Unless you have a satellite dish pointing to Astra. ARD (Das Erste) airs it live, in German of course.

You mean taking out two cars failing to brake in the right point and, then, to make things even better, taking out another two cars when he returned to the track, some 3 seconds later, without looking? Great lesson! :p

Min 4, live action when Schumacher runs over Spengler and Werner and from min 5 the re-play where you can see where he crashes with another two cars when he comes back.
http://www.youtube.c...p;v=kQiQfMBqD-Y

He got a drive through, but I would have black flagged him.

Highlights on ITV4 next weekend (Saturday at 10:30am), annoyingly like Channel 4 with their F3 coverage, they put it on in the morning, rather hard to catch for people who work.

Bet they won't play Bruno's radio call in full!

I didn't watch the race live. But, Ralf have talent, in is not easy to take out two cars in one corner. :rotfl: I was joking about MS, of course I didn't have any idea what Ralf did. Thanks for the clip. This cars are fast.

Not to diminish it, because I love and follow DTM, but this is a kind of spec series, a good one. That's playing its part in BMW not being off the pace.

DTM cars are 'silhouette racing cars' adverting the manufacturer brands involved, prototype chassis under the hood, engine power is balanced.
