1933 MG J2
J3721
AXF 910
Mike Hawke's book states that there is a photo "on file" of this car at full flight in a race with competition numbers.
Where should I start the search for the photo?

I have also sent an email to the MGCC and Triple M. But, I've had good luck here in the past.
Are you a member of the MGCC and Triple M? I am surprised they cannot be of assistance?

He posts here too as JMH.Mike Hawke's son Jeremy is still an active member of the MMM Register, posting on their forum as JMH. He'd probably be the best one to ask.

That'll be me then! "On file" could mean with the MMM Register, or in with all his own research. I'll have a look later today & get back to you.

Thanks for the pm and a most hardy thanks for finding the photo!
As of yesterday, J3721 is in the garage at my house. Now we start working on the chassis.

Can we see the subject of this thread? On another matter are there any plans to update the K3 Dossier? It is hard to imagine it is nearly 20 years since publication of your father's definitive history.

Here's a try - but like many before me it may not work as it's the first time I've tried it!
Alas, we don't have a J2 ripping round Brooklands or Donnington, but on a rally. As the car has lost it's original swept wings & going by the cars in the background, I'd say that it's probably early 50s?
