Steve Wright on the ex Mick Patrick TR750 Suzuki, I believe this was the bike Mick was riding when he lost his life earlier in the year?

One hell of a rider, he had some great battles with Clive Padgett, anyone know what he's up to now ?

Thanks Graham, steve is from Barnsley and also rode for Arnie Fletcher at len manchester m/cycles , melton mowbray, think he once had a 5th or 7th in a wet 500 british grand prix.
He & a fellow Barnsley rider, Rob Brown were known as the 'flying coalmen' as both of them were coal merchants.
Just down the road at Havercroft we had Phil 'spank' Henderson who allegedly once beat barry sheene at scarborough on his rg500. Phil's racing career was cut short after falling from a lorry he was working on and suffered quite serious injury, some pics of phil would be nice please.

If I remember correctly Steve is the son of Stan Wright, who was a fairly good rider himself. Great shot of the Yamaha TZ 350D, it looks brand new!

Where have I been for the last 40 years. I can remember Steve being born and his parents Stan and Pat were my next door neighbours and then Robert Brown came to live at the other side. I can remember Stan buying the ex.Chris Meek 250 Velo and his first race at Cadwell,  through his Aermacchi days and him racing the works DMW....
