In my research on the races in the eastern counties during the early 50s the name Dick Hambly has come up, at first he competed in an H.R.G (CBJ 806) and then a Healey Silverstone (WMF 461). By 1953 he had disappeared off the radar, would any other members have any knowledge of this gentleman?

Many thanks Vince. The first site confirms what I knew, that is the same chap but his name is spelt wrong. I am following up the leads on the other two websites. Great stuff and again many thanks.

By following the Bonham's link from Vince I have been able to contact Dick Hambly's step son. Dick was still sprinting his Cooper Climax at the age of 79 but sadly died of cancer a year later (2007).
Thanks to both Vince and John Polson of Bonham's for their help with this.
