Blacked off rear end it looks, maybe hiding the exhausts?

Like many of this years cars, sexy with a broken nose. Rear end is tiny, front wing has strange mountings. Like the look other than the big kink.

Scarbs already talking about rear suspension.

The tape is probably a lot of temp. sensors.

It was cross-add deal I guess as Procter&Gamble hold both Gillette and H&S trade marks.

I don't know very... FW33, hopefully they fixed it.

Then again it could look very different in OZ already.

A neat and tidy solution from Coughlan. I note that the aero designers have taken a more elegant solution to minimise the front step.

Interesting exhaust placement, much further forwards than most teams and straight into the upper sidepod flow.

Air box is different, sidepods are the same, wings are the same except the new DRS activator. Bodywork like bargeboards or under nose winglets are the same. At the moment it looks like a modified FW33.

I'm a suspension noob, but at first glance, what Scarbs has drawn as the pull-rod, looks as if it's infront of the suspension arm in the photograph, versus the illustration?

EDIT: Wait hang on, it's not even the Williams

Looks like a very neat and tidy little design (aside from the horrible nose, obv). More elegant, though less detailed, than the Toro Rosso.

A straight back shot would be better, but at the moment, i don't think the driveshafts are as inclined as last year.

Great looking car!! Looks actually much better than Red Bull for sure. Rear end indeed is incredibly tight. Actually I am a bit worried if the car gets enough cooling seeing the very tight sidepods, but, having said that, it got huge air down backward to the rear wing, that is a great sign of dow force.

A biut to sad to see Sam's heritage, but ... Hope it beats FI. As of Reno, not sure 'cause there Kimi angers the donkey!

Ignoring the bump, which I find it very interesting to see the team has gone for convex rather than concave with many other teams, it's a nice looking car.

The rear is a tiny as ever and those sidepods disappear into nothing making it look even smaller. Big undercuts as well.

There's really not a lot of her to cut through the air.

If you see pics of the FW33 you will see the sidepods they're running now on the FW34 are exactly the same, I'm sure there will be a change.

Long ago I was told that rounded front works better when travelling air. The most referred to water drop shape. But you know I was wondering al the time, water drops falls towards gravity, for which most mass of water try to find its place as lowest position as possible, hence rounded front. When a car propelled to move forward, mass of this traveling object does not necessarily be placed at the front end as there is no gravity forcing it to be... So Yes, to ct long BS short, I am optimistic!

Really at the rear end you have this big plate, I assume they wil be testing quite bits of exhaust.

Can Pastor and Bruno sit there for the entire season? Without the bump she looks great.

I hate to break the illusion, but the classing water droplet shape is wrong. Air resistance flattens them.

In addition to not being a RW support anymore, the rear suspension dropped the Z arm.

Once they get some data on the cooling of the Renault they can optimise them, hopefully before the season starts.

It would be a good reference to compare the Cosworth cooling with the Renault, maybe that's why they have same/similar sidepods

That photo comparison with the FW33 really shows the difference between a Renault and a Cosworth in terms of packaging.

Just look at that lump...

still quite inclined, but not sure as much as last year's or not. the drive shaft and lower wishbones are alomst same height now, more precisely wishbones are raised to make more clear space on the upper diffuser. not sure either if it was like that last year already or not.

Yeah. William's are hanging on a thin thread. Former HRT and Virgin drivers are stark reminders of how quickly pay drivers can lose their backing. Pay drivers are not a sustainable medium for funding an F1 team. All their big name household sponsors are gone with only Reuters sticking around.

Even with the bump, that car looks much better than last year's. No more faux Rothmans livery either. Good luck to them.

Looking at Williams pics forces me to adjust monitor brightness, so dark...

@muramasa
The driveshaft is still inclined but not as much, the gearbox seems slightly higher but slimmer
Still looking for that arse shot though lol

Is that the final livery though?

Are we sure it's the final race livery?

Normally the dark blue is only reserved for testing.

It comes across as one; if they run an interim livery then it tends to be entirely blue like that picture of the FW33 above.

I wouldn't mind that as the final livery, much better than a fake Rothmans one as already said.

Couple more sponsors wouldn't go amiss though

You need pictures from the same angle to compare, sidepods shape and inlets are the same of last year. But they've added a strange thing at the end of them. Trying to hide something?

Pretty much this.

And i like it.
Should be even nicer on a sunny day as well.
