Last time I put a link on the forum, there were those that asked why people do this sort of thing. I said I wished I had the skill, patience and time, I know most will appriciate this for what it is, exquisite!!!

Astonishing work.
I just love seeing this kind of thing. We had a thread a month or two ago on a similar work of art, a beautifully machined V12 engine that ran. I made the point that there must be quite a few active modelmakers on TNF, asking for some to post pics of their work, but not much happened, only me and F1steve showing off, so I'll try again. It doesn't have to be a 12th scale Honda or anything like that, but come on TNFs, don't be so bashful, let us see what you get up to in your sheds.

That is beautiful work.
Compared to this, my assembly of plastic kits is such childs play.

Looks like a lot of 3D printing on that, the carburetters and engine castings certainly seem to be. Not a crticism, by the way, it is a great piece of model making however it was done!

Agreed, looks like most of it was done that way. very clean. [all bar the slightly bubbly finish on the fuel tank knee dents]
I covet Objet printers
