Roy Wellington ran a business called Sound Sales Ltd in Farnham Surrey in the 1950's, produced a road car above called an R N W but very few were produced. He also "pursued an interest in building or rebuilding high powered and high performance cars that he drove with a degree of success in competition work".
Anyone have any knowledge this person, the production cars or his racing?

Roy Newcombe Wellington is to be found in the 1901 census aged 2, living at 36 St George's Square, St Pancras.
Interestingly, his father Frank F Wellington aged 31, born Bristol, was a Motor Car Engineer. I don't expect there were too many of those around in 1901.
In 1911, they were living in High St, Marylebone, and Frank was a Motor Engineer.

Wellington's name doesn't feature in the results very much, if at all, so his "degree of success" must have been small
Nor do I have any record of a car called the RNW
