Sad to report that Barry Woodall has died, aged 92.
Barry started off hill climbing pre and post war in his Shelsley special, Chatterbox.
This was followed in 1947 by a short campaign racing one of the 1 1/2 litre Delages.
He then briefly raced a 500cc Marwyn before retiring to run the family business in Dudley.

He raced at Ballyclare in both 1946 and 1947, his only appearances in Ireland. Will check my records but possibly the last surviving driver to have raced there?Here's an earlier thread about Barry and the Delage:
