While doing some research on Ken Wharton who was recently discussed on this Forum, I was directed to the 'MACE Archive' which includes footage of Kens funeral in January 1957. A bleak day by the look of it, but well attended. Among the mourners shown arriving at the church I spotted Tony Rolt and 'Lofty' England. The cortege appeared to be led by a 300SL Mercedes. I was impressed to see a policeman stopping traffic at a road junction to allow the cortege to pass by. The archive also contains some excellent footage of a 1957 Mallory Park meeting showing 500cc Formula Three and Sport Car events. No soundtrack but well worth a viewing. There is also footage of much later Mallory meetings.

Thank you Eric and Allan for posting this, a glimpse of 1950s Britain on a sad winter's day.
The 300SL looked like a jet fighter amongst bi-planes.

Thank you for adding that link Alan. I am not that clever!. By the way, I have learned that the 300SL Mercedes belonged to Bill Whitehouse, who was sadly to lose his life at Rheims later that year. I think that Ken Richardson and Bertie Bradnack also appear in the funeral footage.
