I don't want anyone to spill confidential addresses etc, so a PM would be perfect.

Is this the same Roger Taylor who also raced Anglias? If so I seem to recall reading an obituary for him in Autosport a few years back. Many apologies if I am wrong about this. Can anyone please put me in touch with Roger Taylor, who raced Escort Twin-Cams with much success in the late 1960s ?

Hi Graham, my name is Dave French, i was a mechanic for Roger from 1968 until 1972. Im afraid to inform you that Roger passed away round about 1980. I unfortunatly cannot give you an exact date as i by that time had moved away from Essex and had not seen him for good while. He was killed in an accident in the Mont Blanc tunnel whilst driving i am led to believe. If there is any thing i can tell you about him i am more than happy to tell you if i know the answer. I have some great memories and some funny stories about a truly wonderful bloke, mate, friend.Yes, it would be. Oh dear, if I have intruded, sorry ....

Anyway, I think the 1000cc Anglia was driven by Alan Peer. I thought at first it was Terry McNally, but he was CSMA, then I thought Brian Cutting, but can't find him in the search I've done so far.
My progs have RT already in the Escort, listed as 1820cc and Blue, being entered by Dagenham Motors, so I have to dig a bit deeper to find the Anglias.

I was unaware Roger had been killed until I was told last year by Brian Bolton, driver of the fearsome ex-Merfield Cortina Mk1 V8 and fierce competitor against Roger in '68/69.

If I was not such a dummy, I could post a couple of pages from programmes. As it is, you'll have to imagine them!

Great days. We used to cycle to Snetterton mid to late 60's.
Weren't East Anglian Racing Team the entrants of Peer's Anglia & occasionally Taylor's Escort?

154 is Dagenham 1820 TC Escort of RT. Jag is Betts 3.8 mk1, 126 is Terry Harmer's 970S Mini, 154 is Terry Croker in A&J Motors 1860 Anglia. I cannot place the blue/gold mini with no number and no colour match in the programme.
Result of Astley was Taylor, Betts and Dave Cuff 1275 S. In the Red eX race RT led home Croker, David Alexander and Ken Costello. All info taken from programme.
