Reading John Surtees article from the AS Show, I wonder what happened to some of these funding foundations? I remember with fondness the late Gunner Nilsson, especially that last visit to Brands. But does his Cancer fund still exist? What of others? Or, like us do they fade away over the years.

Gunnar Nilsson Foundation still going strong in Sweden

The Senna Foundation is of course still very active and well-known.

I believe Great Ormond Street childrens hospital still has a "Bab's" cot, which was started with funds supplied by J G Parry Thomas

A cot was donated at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in memory of JG Parry Thomas. I recall WB writing about it in MotorSport fairly recently and it seems the family are still keen that proceeds from memorabilia sales should be donated to the hospital.

From memory: I got the impression that Great Ormond Street had completely forgotten about the Parry-Thomas cot and endowment until prompted by WB when they reinstated a plaque.
