Does anybody know the present whereabouts of Cliff Haworth? a young American with some US sports car experience, who came to Europe in 1965 to race in Formula Three. He initially raced a Brabham BT16, with Max Rutherford (a young New Zealander) acting as mechanic. He later raced Tecno, and stayed in F3 until the early seventies, based in Italy or France

I am not sure and hope that I am wrong but I have heard from his former sponsor in the early 1990's that he had been killed in a road car accident in around 1972. He was for a short time, the driver of the ex-Jack Brabham BT8 sports racing car that I restored in the early 1990's. I have a nice large color picture of him in the car at the Del Mar, California, races in 1965.
I unfortunately know no more, but there is a Cliff Haworth who is a racing car driver and is apparently active today. Maybe his son???
