On Sept. 18, 2011 the Shelby American Automobile Club announced they were going to be holding their Convention in Watkins Glen.

I just found out that this SVRA event has been upgraded from a non-spectator event to a spectator event.

I know Phil Henny is going to be there with his books on Shelby and Bondurant. Does anyone else know who will be there? They should be mega.

This is the 50th anniversary of the Cobra so health permiting i'm sure Carrol will be there and i'm sure there is a good chance of Bob Bondurant being there too. I've been to 3 SAAC convention the 3rd on was at Ontario Motorspeed way got a ride around the track in my friends GT350 there was one at Anahiem and another at Sears Point (Infinion raceway) always some great cars so enjoy it's a great track as well.
