I am looking for any pics of Formula Vees that raced in
New Zealand in the 70's. I have an early car and trying
to find out the make of it.

I have a photo of a car I raced at Raupuna and Levels that long ago I can not remember what year it was. It belonged to Chris...........
from Wellington. Sorry Chris if you are reading this but I don't remember your surname
Contact me via email and I will send you a copy of the photo

Search 'Old Formula Vees - Group V in Australia'.......I'm sure there are a couple of NZ vees there.

This photo may be too early for your requirements, but it is the grid for the FVee race at the Northern SCC Pukekohe National on 9 November 1968. Maybe your car might be older than you think.

The programme gives no makes for the cars, they are described only as "Formula Vee". This was probably the first FV race at a Pukekohe national meeting, I don't recall the Auckland Car Club being interested in FV's at all.

If it's any help, drivers and numbers are as follows :
From front row - (Pole) 3 B.Yates - 53 R.King; Row 2 : 6 E Wainwright - 47 B.Munro; Row 3 : 94 G.Hetterscheid - 61 G.Broun; Row 4 : 146 I.Berry - 26 R.Allen; Row 5 : 4 T.Grice - 32 B.Salmon; Row 6 : 155 P.Deere.

Stu

Oops - sorry about the over-width picture - forgot to get 'PostImage" to re-size it!

There were a couple of photos posted in the earlier thread started by fvee25. Perhaps this is the same car?

Yep,
That's me. I sort of got to a dead end on the other thread.
I thought I would try to find some pics of NZ Vees.

I've probably got hundreds, but rather than post them, it seems a lot easier if you show us what you've got

Great Pic.
The wedge shape design is similar.
I have tried many times to post a pic.
It seems impossible.
