I hope I won't get flamed for asking what may be a trivial quiz question (no prizes involved, of course), but ever since stumbling upon this pic I was wondering if anyone was aware of this... Can anyone identify and roughly date this picture? There are some giveaways present, but I've highlited a peculiarity in it- could it be that monoshock suspension was considered when this front suspension was developed, and then rediscovered much later???
Oddly enough, few years back monoshock was deemed a thing with bright future, but instead I would say that 3 shock suspensions turned a way to be a more a way to go... On a more personal note, once we settle the quiz question, I'd be very grateful to hear opinions on my 'third way' theory of such systems...

One system it might be that I know of uses not one shock but 2 offset to each other and from that angle looks like just one. If it is one then it still needs roll control although this could be done at the other end.
