Towards the end of 2001 Minardi ran a total of three B-spec chassis of the PS01 but given the team's financial difficulties I can not imagine they built three all new cars for just a few races rather than simply updating three of the four PS01s they had used before. The black books, however, provide rather confusing information on the matter. Does anyone know if the PS01Bs were just updated PS01s or new cars?

The changes for the PS01B were a new gearbox, aerodynamic package and rear suspension geometry.
