My biggest pet peeve, and probably the most commonly mis-spelt word, is definitely - it doesn't have an a in it ;)

Talk about opening a can of worms - this could end up being a VERY long thread !
My biggest pet peeve, and probably the most commonly mis-spelt word, is definitely - it doesn't have an a in it ;)
It's possibly better that way than those that defiantly choose to spell the word incorrectly.

If you rephrase it to read "Lotus is out to show that it is the main threat to the top teams," it's correct. Not sure if this is the correct spot to plonk this, but I note the greengrocer's apostrophe is alive and well at Autosport.
