The main reason for Dreyfus' victory in the 1930 Monaco Grand Prix was that he had fitted an auxiliary fuel tank to his Type 35B, allowing him to do the full race without stopping for fuel.
Does anyone have any details of where the extra tank was located in the car?

It was located next to Dreyfus in place of the passenger seat, but I don't know how it was situated.
