My mistake.
You must admit he's driving is horrible.

Poor attempt to draw attention away from Fernandos failure.
Even with that mistake he was clearly faster. At least Alonso attempted to get in Q3 with a **** car.

He would've made Q3 I dare say and qualy'd at least 9th.
As for Massa well.... the guy has struggled since Hungary 09, and now he's stuck with an ill handling clear which is clearly not his strong suit. Combine that with the Italian press and I'd say it's very likely he's gone by years end.
Can only feel bad for him.

but anyway, Ferrari have nothing to loose by replacing Massa with someone else, so...

Who would replace him, though?

The main problem is the car, Massa's problem it's he needs a fast car to be good. When the car is not good, or not as he likes, he is bad.
Since last year, Massa's performance show how good Alonso is.

Massa is really emabarrasing - so slow he can't even beat Alonso who was out in Q2. I wonder how team like Ferrari can retain such a slow driver....
Its the gap that I was shocked about. Either Alonso was mega (likely) or Massa was useless and couldn't find the lap that the car could do (occasionally) or a bit of both, but he was only in Q2 because of a Kimi error, which was a concern

No. I wonder who dialed Kubica's number faster, Domenicali or Boullier?

It's OVER.
I'm sorry to say this, but Barricchello would have done better with this Ferrari.

Not worth a Ferrari seat, but I don't see them dumping him before the end of the season.

Massa's career is dead since Germany 2010.
That slowed him down by a second?

I guess a couple of eye-opening results from the Sauber drivers could precipitate things though.. the door is wide open

You could have brough 34-year-old Ayrton Senna back to life with all his talent and he could not have done much better than Massa today. The car is just terrible. No sense in blaming Massa for this.
You are missing the obvious point. Look at the gap between Massa and Alonso.

I understand what you're saying but I'm afraid this year was his last chance with Ferrari.. and it looks like changing time.

Ferrari would then get to try out one of two exciting young drivers in a season that at the first race is looking like a write off. Personally I'd stick Kobayashi in the car but it seems Perez could be Ferrari bound ultimately.

Can we be sure they are driving identical cars?
Are you kidding?, do you think the team wants Felipe to finish that low? . If you bother reading the drivers comments, Felipe has a lot of balance problems with the car today. The worse the car, the better the difference between him and Alonso.
