Last year you and some others continuously suggested it was all a big conspirancy from RedBull against Webber, while in reality Webber just didn´t cope with the EBD and the 2011-Pirellis as well as Vettel.
So much for accepting something...
I find it totally hilarious that Vettel fans are so quick to scream about the car this year, and yet all of last year totally refused to accept that Mark had so many severe problems with reliability in his car. You can't have it both ways.
Yes, Mark struggled with the Pirellis. Yes, Mark's driving style was not particularly suited to the EBD while Vettel's relied heavily on it. But Mark also got a huge number of absolute sh*t strategy calls from RB, he was at the butt end of "do not overtake" orders twice, he had issues with the start that were partly of his own making but mostly to do with the clutch/start settings as evidenced by what happened when RB switched him to 2010 settings, and suffered ELEVEN chassis changes, none of which were ever explained.
In light of that, I think he did rather well to finish no lower than 5th in any race (excluding the DNF at Monza).
These are not "excuses", these are cold hard facts of Mark's season last year.
Did Webber's difficulty with the tyres contribute to his results? Absolutely. Did his different driving style with the EBD make a difference? Of course it did. My point is simply that those were not the sole reasons Mark ended up getting less-than-expected results. It is rather difficult to win races when the team gives you a 30-second pitstop and dumps you down to 14th. Or when you're tipped around at turn 3 by someone else and dumped down to 13th. Or when your team gives you an utterly DUMB strategy that makes no sense to a 3-year-old. (Barcelona.)
