Agree, thought it was fantastic myself, one of the best they've produced for a long time, good song and well put together, either way it gave me that funny feeling "behind" my penis* and brought a smile to my face!

*If you don't watch topgear you'll think i'm a complete wierdo, and you'd probably be right!! :p

EDIT: I love the bit where it shows JB on the podium celebrating with his trademark grin then cuts away to Pastor in his wrecked Williams, reminds me of the fact that theres such a fine line between success and failure.

The onboard lap is far more exiting than the race edit.

Liked it! Song's great too. Can't please some people though, I think they want feature length films about each race or something..

Looks like my standards are high in terms of video footage. The same mediocre pattern from last year applies, with exceptionally bad sound fade-in and out levels this time.

Fingers crossed for Malaysia, as there's a plenty of material to be shown.

Meh...

If either McLaren driver wins this season i'm gonna do a 10-20 minute season edit.

Hard to pick which songs to put in it though :D so many

Not my favourite type of music but still quite good.

I miss the 90second BBC race edits they used to do.

Pretty good job this time. Nice exhibition for Jenson and they got most of the highlights too - maybe all of them. Good job really.

I thought it wasn't that well done; the musical transitions were a bit jarring and it just didn't feel like it flowed very well.

Belgium 2011 was a race edit I really enjoyed (except again a little bit of a musical transition hiccup at the start).

Not bad, actually lot better than before, but the race itself is a precursor for that. Still, I was expecting lot more spice - where is the Finger? Why brushed it under the carpet?
Good music choice.

I understand it has to be dynamic but half a second montage cuts is too much. You can't see anything, start for example.

- Perez off! - 37 s

- Perez 2:08 - the whole car is flexing

- very good onboard of Vettel-Kartikheyan, anyone who still thinks Vettel wasn't at fault should see this

Amusing that they have all those Lewis onboards but not of the Rosberg incident(from the front facing camera at least) but have Alonso's.

IMO they're keeping it for the season review disc. They have to think in advance, holding back materials to have something new stuff on the review, especially on more interesting incidents.

Bahrain race edit-->

The editing in this is pretty tragic, I suppose the words chronologically and temporality mean nothing to the guys who put this together.

Just watched the last couple of edits and they've taken an upward turn at last. A couple of good edits, even if the music is as generic as. The shot of Jensons eyes in the pitstop in China was excellent.

So Lotus DID do a type of team order there?

Why didn't they do it a few laps earlier then? They could have won the race. :well:

- China race edit - good, better than the previous ones. Caught most important stuff in the race.
- Bahrain - rather disjointed, worse than China, still a bit above the mediocre production from the past.
- Overall music choice - poor. Same pattern, similar songs, bad fading in and out. I'm open to suggesting music / songs to the guys at FOM.

*"Kimi is faster than you, don't hold him" - I missed that on TV ... Thanks FOM.

No Lewis pole lap, and nothing of Lewis until he is up there with Button. Not even including the awesome scissor move on the two Toro Rossos? What the hell, who is editing these videos? Trying to edit away that they placed him last or what?

Barely a single noteworthy moment included in the entire video. Generic dull music. Good job.

Anyone could've done a better job than this :drunk:

Pretty bad, focused on the Alonso-Pastor battle too much....missed too many action packed areas on track. Koba's overtakes? Lewis on the Toro Rosso's? Dicing with Massa?

Not enough intriguing radio too....

Liked the music though.

How bland was that video. Not a single driver remark until Pastor's "good job guys" over the line? What is with that? Would have loved to hear Vettel's reaction to getting a drive through, same for Massa.

The edits this year seem to be put together with absolutely no heart. It's just the battle between the top couple of cars in highlights, and some shots of the grid and garages at the start. Really boring. Honesly 95% of the people on this forum could do a better job.

Yeah I didn't think it was a good one. I think China was probably the best. Haven't watched Australia though. I think Monaco will be a good one. But I'm like you I was totally expecting to see Fernando & Kimi lifting Pastor up on their shoulders. It gets thumbs down just for not showing that classy act from two World Champions.

I have just watched the race edit, IMO that's possibly the worst of all. The only good things were the two onboards shot of Button...

It isn't always the pole-sitter.

You are truely a genius... this is why it is a little dig.

Oh. You're right. Then I understand why they took Webbers lap.
