Great photos! I like the ones of Jack Brabham taking the spare McLaren for a drive. Jack said he borrowed it to show Ford that the driver was not the reason for the other car being slow.

At risk of sounding "off the wall" to some... I hope all of my Forum friends Down Under are forever proud of Bruce.

I already was at 7, it was clear even then and I'm on the opposite side of the Planet. An inconceivably repeatable legend, anywhere.

I love it that his name carries on in F1 in grand style. Only one other name, with more resources all along, can say that.

Those are great photos,the shots of Jack Brabham in the McLaren are great to see.I see he was entered in the Ford as No19 however the photo showing that car has another driver at the wheel any idea who or why?

Great pictures, and thank you for sharing!

Two high points for me, during the cavalcade are, for one, the many pictures of the factory Porsche 917P of and with Jo Siffert. Although the car had sprouted flaps front and rear at the time of Michigan, it still retained a pure simple outline painted in a spartan factory colour of white and in this case blue.
Second favorite among these pictures are the many depictions of the cars of the lesser names. I don't know if the pictures covers every car and driver at Michigan, but does a darn good job at doing something close to it?
