Cuban Built Race Car,This is from the book Caribbean Capers:The 1957,1958 and 1960 Cuban Grand Prix by Joel Finn,Racemaker Press,Ganett Hill Publishing. I am trying to identify what powers this Homebuilt(at A Cuban Gas Station,believe there was others?) Special? Chevy Engine? Ferrari?(unlikely if it's built special) Would love help on this.? please.

Is 'Montclair' painted across the bonnet a clue - could it be Mercury powered?

Thanks,Yes I noticed that I wondered the same thing..But I am trying to research it. Also Trying to figure out the color,it's the only picture Out there SO far.
