Schumacher and Mass were paired for the Silverstone race in spring of 1990 though they didn't race due to being disqualified for a violation in practice.
Please tell !
I don't remember - I was probably playing cricket by then in any case

This action by the Sauber mechanics was deemed to be in breach of Article 13, paragraph C of the WSPC regulations, 'any repairs outside the pits must be carried out by the driver alone using any tools or parts carried in his car'.
The team protested but the C11 was disqualified.
Schumacher was also individually excluded for not doing up his seat belts for the return lap.

I've seen some pictures on the internet lately and just finished a drawing with the number 3, Mercedes C11 with Baldi and Schumacher as drivers. However, I can only find Schuie teamed up with Mass and Wendlinger while he was driving for Mercedes. What race were they teamed up in?
I'm not aware that Michael shared with Mauro at all .
As far as I remember Baldi's regular partner during his stint at Mercedes driving the C11 during 1990 was Jean Louis Schlesser ( and the number 3 was carried by the Brundle / Lammers Jag). Could you post the link to the pictures ?

Here is a picture and there was one recently on the pictures of engine thread. According to this [url="http://www.f1fanatic...rcedes-years/"], it was Schumacher still paired with Mass that DQ at Silverstone.

As Chris says, Baldi and Schumacher don't seem to have been paired in period, except on the T-car at the 1990 Mexico race, as shown in Schumacher's listing on Racing Sports Cars:

So it's a mystery why the car currently shows that pairing. I'm sure someone here will be able to solve it.
