While the plot is negligible--I worked out the cause of the accidents, and the baddie, within two chapters, but got the method wrong--the lengthy descriptions of the various Grand Prix races involved are authentic, convincing, and detailed.
The version I have been tackling is the serial edition, which appeared in two newspapers in Australia in 1935. I am converting it to digital epub format to read on my Kindle. Has anybody else on TNF read it, or am I an orphan? And did Campbell REALLY write it?
