Straying into DCN territory here - apologies Doug!
After operations ceased at BRM's Bourne works, the factory units were occupied by other enterprises but were often the focus of some attention when the Bourne-based bus operators Delaine (who occupied the ERA works and dyno shed) held their annual "open day" events. These ran for a few years but are sadly now discontinued. The following photos were taken at the 1994 event - does anyone have any more?

No need for apology, I claim no territorial rights whatsoever over BRM, nor anything else outside family. Just one point - that's a P153, not P154.

Quite correct as ever Doug - it's now getting to the point where I can't read my own writing! Incidentally, at that 1994 open day I recall Alec Stokes telling me about motoring journalists gauging the wheelbases of the cars by leaving stones on the ground where the hubs had rested, and going back to measure them after the cars had gone. Was he pulling my leg?

A friend has been scanning some of his late fathers pictures. Here are some of a BRM open day (or days) he attended. It looks mostly like the early sixties, but an H16 makes an appearance as well.
