Razia is not leaving Marussia, thats simple brazilian press panic, always trying to be ahead of itself. Luiz himself told another brazilian page they gave the full week so Chilton could do more long runs, something the british didnt manage in his first week of practice. Razia diz long runs in Jerez and, now, should get more days in the last week of tests. Simple as that. Razia would come back tomorrow to the car, but since its will probably rain, team decided to give Chilton wet time, since it wouldnt help Razia to understand the car more.

Chilton hasn't done a single long run in all week long so that excuse is lame.

Somehow I don't buy it... I think a check didn't clear and they are acting all political while Razia's management works it out.

Could be. Anyway, it seems all a bit nebulous to me. The late confirmation by Marussia, a couple of days after Razia's self-announcement, was already strange. To make things worse, Razia himself has declared that he didn't have the complete 2013 budget secured "yet" and was hoping to convince his actual and prospective backers (who are they BTW?) with his performance to fund the whole season. And now this. I actually didn't bet on him finishing the season with Marussia, but also didn't expect such problems that early...

too add to this, i don't see razia's sponsors over the car, and the car is now mainly only chiltons dollar daddy's portfolio of companies. check LDC most are owned apart from armin strom.

Why not dump Di Resta and put in Sutil and Bianchi?

For a team with owners that face financial problems. Paying a driver to not race is not the smartest move...

I don't think Di Resta earns that much money. At max 500,000$.

Yeah, but he would probably get more than this if Force India were to break the already existing contract and not to give him a race seat this season.

Also, last time Force India did this, it was to Viantonio Liuzzi, who had to pay him 2 million Euros if I'm correct.

Not even that, 200,000 Euros! In all seriousness i wonder how he affords to live in Monaco, property there is pretty darn expensive!

I read somewhere that it was around 800.000$ but that was his salary from last year, that's if the source is correct, I'll try and find the magazine that mentioned the salaries.

I'm pretty sure Di Resta is being paid by Mercedes as well ;)

By the way, it does look ridiculous that the lower end of the grid hardly earn anything if you compare it with an average footballer in the Premier League or something.

I wish I could barely earn anything like di Resta. All that shows is that the Premier League is ridiculously overpaid.

Looks like an announcement on the driver line-up will be confirmed tomorrow. Don't hold your breath..

Got a feeling it'll be Sutil with Jules Bianchi getting the reserve seat and getting a full time race seat in 2014.

i think the situation in force india is ,on one side , ferrari are telling them you give bianchi a two years race contract and you will have our engines for that much , and on the other side . all team members and engineers including mallya wants sutil but cant see any financial benefit from it and if they choose him they will continue with mercedes which already gave them discount on engines because of di resta , but will di resta be in force india in 2014 ?

that the bottle Sutil will use to commit GBH against Bianchi if he doesn't get the seat?

Nah, they're giving that to Chilton's dad for squeezing a donkey into an F1 car.

Why? He's no use to them now and unlikely to be in the future; if Rosberg took up modelling or Lewis left to present This Morning the obvious replacement would be Hulkenberg, not the guy he beat.

We know you are all waiting for a certain announcement, and we can't wait to show you our full lineup, but be patient just a little longer! As the old proverb goes, good things come to those who wait...

when I link to german articles that is what I always try to do

I assume you don´t use Google Chrome ? Maybe it´s a good idea you try it because they translate websites to whatever language you like. Just a tips! ;)

No you don´t but some people is too lazy to use http://translate.google.com/ and translate text itself. Google Chrome do it automatically.
Sorry for OT, just wanted to clarify and help with translations at websites. Peace out. :)

If it's true, I'm disappointed. Far more interested to see how Bianchi would perform than a known quantity like Sutil, who has already shown he isn't anything special.

Knowing Force India, they won't announce anything until mid-way through the season after Bianchi and Sutil share the seat.
