Hi all, I am new to this forum hope I have used the correct part of the site to post. I am looking for information/photos of a Blue Mk1 Ford Capri Reg No SEV 315M that Tony Lanfranchi drove in 1974/5, I would like to find out what model it was, I am led to believe that it was works prepared.
Many thanks RScapriman.

Although that certainly is an Essex registration number, it is important to realise that this does not automatically mean that it had any Ford factory connections. Many Fords were registered privately in Essex, or by Ford dealerships.
Ford's Motorsport centre at Boreham was concentrating on Escorts in the mid-1970s, and as far as I know, the only Mk 1 Capris prepared at Boreham were for the 1973 Tour of Britain, which were cars carrying XWC ... L numbers.
There was certainly no rally car preparation of any such cars.
As I also recall (correctly ?) Tony Lanfranchi did not have any Ford connections either, at this time.
Discouraging response ? Sorry, but that's the way it was ....
