Ferrari 340 America 0202A (Devin body Chevy engine),but who where and when.
Andy Herron ? Deep South ? around 1960 ?

Beyond what I assume is a Devin body I have no idea about the rest of it.

However it looks as though the rear tyre is coming off the rim.

Yes, it is the Ferrari 340A, chassis 0202, here with Devin body and Chevy 8. In 1952 it started life with a Vignale body and 4.1-liter V12.

The photo was taken at Mansfield on March 12, 1961, and Tommy Sibson is at the wheel. By 1963 the car was last raced at Salt Lake City, only to disappear for the next 43 years.

In 2006 Tom Shaughnessy in California bought the car, unseen, for less than $27,000 on Ebay. The seller lived in Illinois and was unaware what he really had in his garage.
