Also, after listening and watching the F1 cars with the Judd V10s I am even more enamored with Road America as an F1 track. I know it won't happen but it was definitely worth it just to listen as they went around the track. If I remember correctly the fastest car did a couple of laps at 1:53.

I don't know if you ever got to watch Brian French in his Ferrari F93 V12 around RA... but that was really something. I shot some sweet video of it that I'll digitize and post on YouTube someday... pure magic.
I've dreamed of an F1 race there since the '60s, and yes, it's sad it will "likely never" happen (never say 'never' ).
Glad you enjoyed yourself, Sblick.

No that is not the infamous Hughes car. That car is, last I heard, still out in California and for sale by on consignment with Fantasy Junction. It is still in the works colors, but Fantasy Junction clearly labels it as a Commander car. The car pictured is supposedly M8FP-9-72. It was driven at Road America by Ed Swart.
Tom
I received some additional info; the car is not M8FP-9-72. It is a car built up from pieces by John Collins. Thanks for the clarification,
Tom
