Sup folks? Our most recent Nationwide winner will be back in the trucks on THURSDAY night. Will the renewed confidence lead to an oval win? You have to tune in to find out. Or you can just check NASCAR.com the next day, if you want to be a pussy about it.

It's one of them triple headers, with Trucks Thurs night, Nationwide Fri night, and Cup Saturday evening. You Europeans ready with some coffee? I hope so, for your sake. Cos nothing's worse than saying "I'm going to sit this one out" only to come back the next day and the thread has like 500 replies because of all the epicness that ensued in your absence.

Tune in sched: http://www.nascar.com/races/tune_in/

Just noticed JGR are not running Joey Legs in the Nationwide race, due to lack of sponsorship!
How the heck is a guy who has won 4 of the last 5 races in NNS not able to find enough funds to race at one of the tracks he usually blitzes?

UPDATE 2: Because they do not have sponsorship for the weekend, the Joe Gibbs #20 team has withdrawn.(6-27-2012)

(Jayski)

A CRAZY “OFF” WEEKEND: This weekend, fans will see something that they are not accustomed to seeing and something Logano himself isn’t accustomed too.
Logano will not race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event this weekend at Kentucky despite the series being at the track in conjunction with the Sprint Cup Series event.
Logano has won five NASCAR Nationwide Series events this season and four of the last five he’s competed in. He has also won three of his four career starts at Kentucky in the Nationwide Series.

Watching too. I am surprised we don't have more Cup/NNS guys in this one, but that's a good thing IMO.

Let's go Piquet! Not the type of track that suits him best but he was fast in practice and starts 2nd. let's just hope he keeps it in the top 5 all race and has a chance at the end.

It's not perfect but it beats baseball :p.

On an unrelated note, I'm already tired of Michael Waltrip.

Touché.

Got to hand it to everyone behind Bodine at that stage. Very clean.

Conned the attendant at the Universal Amphitheatre to turn on the trucks in the green room.
All the hipster poser types are totally bemused.
Oops... Nelson Picket is in the wall.

Back to work then

Well it looks like nepotism can be a good thing :p. Just kidding, I like him, he seems like a good guy.

As a sidenote, does anyone else get a little depressed when they are older than the race winner? It's slowly happening more and more often to me.

This depresses me.

Strange incident between JPM and Keselowski in practice, the 2 will go to a backup. Ambrose went for a spin as well.

Well that explains the low number of laps and low practice position, I hope.

It was really strange, it happened within the first 90 seconds of the broadcast. It looked at first like JPM had engine problems, but I think the smoke is more from gettin run over by Keselowski.
