After reading in an other thread the following post, i wanted to open a thread, where we can discuss the necessity of penalties and the sense of it.

They should just remove penalties. This is racing you must be on the limit and sometimes beyond otherwise it's boring.

What is your opinion, do we need penalties?
If yes: what for, and how should they look like?
If not: why not?

Ofc we need penalties, that's a daft post. It'll end up like Touring Cars otherwise.

All sports need rules and regulations, with consequences for breaking them.

Silly thread.

Yes. All sports need regulation, and regulations cannot be enforced without sanctions.

For racing incidents there should be black flags or nothing at all.
