Given the attitude of many members here (well, it IS a Nostalgia Forum) they would suggest the Racing Comments forum.

Difficult isn't it? :drunk:

The place for debates on the current affairs of Formula 1, rallying, MotoGP, NASCAR, V8, Indycar, and all other forms of motorsport.

can't be correct as it isn't a debate.

and

A forum dedicated to the research, study, discussion, and just plain ol' talking about the history of motor sports.

can't be correct either as it isn't history (yet)

I can understand Edwin's confusion. After all he sees modern F.1 cars on TNF.

The thing is, Edwin, Simon Arron is a special case.

This has happened, so that means it's history.

Well, again I am sorry if placed incorrect on the forum, it is indeed a little bit difficult to choose the correct category (it isn't website feedback, it isn't racing comment, it isn't something for the technical forum, it isn't traveling, so I thought Nostalgia would be accepted because I also see pictures here below from F1 2012 and Goodwood 2012...). If you want me to remove my pics, please let me know!

Don't worry. All that's happened is that a bunch of grumpy old men who were dozing in the sun have woken up. We'll They'll go back to sleep in a minute!

In all seriousness, probably "Racing Comments" would have been a better place to post this, but, as you say, it is genuinely difficult to decide.

I've run across this quandary before... where to post what, and especially since TNF seems the friendliest group 'round here.

I never mind looking at great photos of lovely cars, however, and like Allen's take, "it's happened, so it's history."

Beautiful images, Edwin.

In the sun!?!? What country are you in Duncan? I was woken by the sound of rain on the roof.

There is no space limitation on TNF and it feels better having the pictures here than having them lost in the "chatroom".

Well, yesterday we had alternating sun and rain, so technically you could fall asleep in the sun and be woken by the rain on the [conservatory] roof. :p

(if you have a conservatory of course)

He certainly is a special case... but his thread has been well and truly hijacked... I said it was the start of a slippery slope but did they listen...?

Shuffles orf mumbling about modern crap... ;)

Thanks for the pictures, Edwin. They're excellent!

I have been to both the Spa and the Nürburgring World Series races this year.
An excellent concept IMO and a fine way to take my brother and his kids (9 yo) to their first race ...

I enjoyed the race weekends and your pictures just brought a smile to my face. Thanks for posting them!

Hi Gert,

Thanks for your feedback and nice you like my pictures. The WSR events are great for the whole family with the Form.Renault 3.5 races as a highlight (and the F1 demo for the general public).

Check out my site www.RaceImages.nl for the latest pictures from the Masters of Formula3 on Zandvoort from last weekend!
