I hope the following is permissible here. A very brave young friend here in Farnham is Rachel Morris, who won a hand cycling Gold Medal at the Beijing Paralympics. Training hard on a local road to defend her title she had the misfortune to be rammed from behind by a passing car. She escaped, thankfully, with minor personal injuries, but her hand made carbon bike was a write off, and a replacement is around £7,500.
