Hi All
Im looking for pictures of the Rondel team.the reason is a few months ago we at our workplace bought an old Hotchkiss race transporter, which I have put pictures of in the transporter thread, and we have tried to find info on it.
I took a sander to it the other night and uncovered this...

My own picture of Schenken in the Rondel Brabham BT36 at Crystal Palace, May 1971.

Graham,
Good luck with your search. I think you're looking for photos from 1972, when Rondel ran those four drivers; in 1971, Carlos Reutemann drove the Automovil Argentina Brabham.
On your facebook link, the transporter photo is probably from 1971, given that Graham Hill's name is visible. He drove Tate of Leeds and Jagermeister cars in 1972.
Someone , somewhere might have a 1972 paddock photo....
(It's probably not 1973; Motul-Rondel ran several drivers, with JP Jaussaud being one of the regulars).

There are some interesting shots on this Italian site (perhaps the TNF transporter thread already has the link). There's a Rondel shot but, again, it's 1971.

Just found another pic of two different Rondel Transporters on this link, my guess is Jonathan Greaves might be a very good contact regarding your discovery.

Bjorn, I may be behind the times but I believe Neil still works at McLaren, specialising in gearboxes and/or the earlier McLaren cars. If nobody has private contact details you could always try McLaren themselves:

Tall G this is in Sweden in 1971, I'll see if I have a better copy and then replace it, give me a couple of hours and I'll tell you who Ron bought it from and when.

Nice photo Mick! Lord Woftam looks a little portly!

That first transporter was ex Ron Harris, and had been left rotting behind Mike Spence Ltd., Ron enlisted a working party from the local who with the promise of free booze freshened it up over a weekend!

All this from a review in Autosport on the Rondel Team. I have written a complete review of that season and if you would like a copy just pm me.

I dont think that's the same vehicle as on your photo page, different cab?
