What do you mean?

On road cars the reverse lights are white.

Can they really not sell that prime space on the back of the rear wing?

More importantly, can they not find some overalls that fit that jack man?

MP4-27 look planted and really fast trough high speed stuff in S2 especially T11, but also the Lotus, Ferrari and even Williams. I don`t know what`s going on with RedBull but Vettel could put the power so early at the exit of T11 and they were nowhere in middle sector... maybe they were running with more fuel on Friday. Bulls also still had that specific note from the overrun even though its quite a bit sillent than before. I could say MP4-27 also had some strange sound when drivers lifting the power it`s almost the same as the one on RBR8.

McLaren have chanses this weekend I hope the luck will be with them and us today and tomorow!

McLaren gremlins on the attack again, having a bite at Button. Australia feels like a very long time ago

No gremlins, just Button being some way off his set-up sweet spot.

Balance is great with medium tyres but not very good with soft tyres. We have to extract everything from soft tyres if we want to have pole position. Red Bulls seem like recovered well from yesterday. Button needs to step up his game, he has fallen behind a little bit

It's going to be another incredibly close qually with such a short lap as this one and everyone having plenty of dry running. Could be some big name casualties in Q2 so let's just hope both the McLarens get to Q3 then I'll start thinking about pole - maybe. If the car's not as good on softs as others then they'll be lucky to get the second row. It's way too tight for any aspect of the car and driver to be less than 100%.

I didn't mean gremlins in the context that there is something wrong with the car, just in terms of the bad luck that has been stalking the drivers. It's become somewhat a theme, quite a while since McLaren have had both cars at the front.

It's a huge shame, but it isn't the first time McLaren can't really find and make use of all tenths available from the option (soft) tyre. Prospects are still very good though, especially if the race is dry.

The pattern through the season has been for McLaren to not show their quali pace in FP3, I've lost count of the amount of times Hamilton has been midfield in FP3 and done well in Quali. Hamilton was only 1.5 tenths behind the Red Bulls on the harder tyre; it looked to me the Bulls soft tyre time was their best and Hamilton had more fuel on board for his.

Can I just get this off my chest....McLaren will somehow screw this up tomorrow, I can almost feel the dreaded "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!!!!!" outburst at the tv tomorrow night. Fingers crossed im very wrong though! We just always seem to ruin ourselves when we are in an advantageous position

Great stuff and 150th pole

1st and 4th, and a chance to make up some serious ground in both championships

On the other hand, there are the dreaded clutch settings....

Edit: and the weather could throw a spanner in the works.

Whatever happens tomorrow, one thing is clear and it is comforting, to know that Mclaren has a great car at least in the hands of LH and not too bad in the hands of JB. Having a good car is needed to win championships. That looks to be in place - the rest will follow.

JB is not doing justice enough to the machinery under him and whether he and his fans like it or not, he is destined to be number 2 driver at Mclaren. Even that may not be good enough when considering a tight WCC title fight.

LH will be OK in even if it rains tomorrow, starting in front has great advantages in the rain.
