Gino Rea's engine explodes and dumps oil all over the track - red flag! Restart over 14 (!) laps.

Marc Marquez? I don't think anyone would disagree. How does that support your point regarding Cortese and Vinales.

Gino Rea just dumped oil all over the track, red flag.

But you have said yourself that Marquez is more talented than Cortese, dont you remember?

And yes, he is winning because he is performing closer to his limit than Vinales, who has a higher limit = more talent.

I don't think you're getting it. I said potential. Vinales will get there but he's not yet. He's got things to learn.

You call it more potential I call it more talented. And yes, I dont understand what you think the difference is. He will get there and beyond because he is more talented.

Just because more people agree on something doesn't necessarily make it more correct. But then again, im sure more people in the future will agree that Vinales is more talented. I actually thought most people did.

 , weirdly i feel the exact opposite! The kid is something else. Didn't give Pol an inch. Thats got to be a bit of a blow, psychologically.

Saying it a bunch of times doesn't make it true! Vinales is young, plenty of time for you to wank over him.

Moto2 season is all but over. Just when it looked like Marquez would get shuffled back and give some points to Pol he turns around and takes a win instead.

I appreciate the fact that he hasn't nearly killed anyone this year, that's a huge improvement.

Great last laps!

Great last lap. The guy is both fast and cant fight like the best.

The guy, who according to some posters here doesn't even have to try because he has such a bike advantage, has more near crashes pushing the bike than anyone else

It's almost at every race that he has a moment and that's not even counting the moments he also has in practices. If he will have the same moments in MotoGP and can't save the heavier MotoGP bike, he might have a lot of crashes.

Not really a surprise that you start talking about wanking, only that it took so many posts. I guess you are the one that doesn't get it.

And where was Nakagami?

I think he'll give a good account of himself.

I love his attitude to racing - no ego or bullshit!

Poor Pedrosa. Bump started for the first warm up lap, front tire warmer jammed in the fender on the second.

Abraham's clutch is fuggered it seems..

Well, that's torn it! I don't even like Dani Pedrosa, but I was hoping for a good fight for the Championship.

Good start for Valentino Rossi though!

Good point, it's effectively been equalised at one DNF apiece.

Pretty harsh really, he had finished every race until Indy, and now he's had two crashes and a podium in three.

My words! It is, in a weird way, absolutely fair. The championship standings will be a more accurate representation of bike and rider.

Rossi not fading, I'm amazed.

Oh my goodness, how much did I enjoy that! What a fantastic race for Valentino Rossi, I never would have imagined he would get on the podium. And third place for Bautista for San Carlo Gresini Honda...very emotional... :)

Yes it was an easy win for Lorenzo but the podium is a lovely tribute to our dear Marco Simoncelli...

What a bizarre looking podium.

3 former world champions
Essentially riding 3 factory bikes

Very strange....... :drunk:
