I am curious to see how the pecking order will shake out if we have a completely dry weekend.

Expecting Red Bull to dominate with Ferrari a close second, i dont think mclaren will do well at all their slow speed downforce is woeful.

Red Bull will try their best to go fastest I think, either that or they will make themselves look desperately slow and then come qualifying be desperately quick again.

As long as the full wets don't come out at key stages this weekend I reckon Hamilton can win Pole and Race, they were very fast in the dry last week and have more updates to bolt on.

Pastor, you know what needs to be done, find Alonso and hug his car with yours :smoking:

Well apparently Sunday's forecast is very uncertain. It could be bone dry all day, but there is a risk of severe storms as well.

Best question I've heard on the subject:

"If it didn't give you an advantage, it wouldn't have been on the engine map would it..."

Mark Webber - A couple of seconds silence "Er...."

Kimi is my dark horse this weekend, loves this place, the Lotus will be quick here, tyre wear is crucial and its kind on its tyres, Kimi dark horse for pole/win.

Nothing like a bit of back tracking on what you said.

Exactly, anything that gives you some form of traction control on these tyres made from jelly will give you an advantage, the Redbull will eat it's tyres faster for sure without it.

It's just a question of were the Ferrari's and Merc engined cars running anything similar?

I wonder what the effect of the Engine Map reset will have on RedBull. I also wonder whether this was the way RedBull solved their rear tire issues mid-season, specially for Mark who was struggling with the tires early season.

As I live 200 km from the circuit and know the weather here very well, summer is coming back today, with temperatures reaching almost 31 today and 34 over the weekend, with short T-storms bulding in the late afternoon. We will see...

Java no longer works with IE9 64bit, it asks you to update to an older version; as soon as you do, it asks you to update to an older version; as soon as you do, it asks you to....

C:>Program Files (86)>Internet Explorer and create a shortcut to IE9 32Bit, Java still works with that. My best guess is an IE9 Update has queered the pitch.

Thank you for the information but I don't use IE9.

Unfortunately for me it's not working on either chrome of firefox so it's either a problem with my software or the system, and it's probably my software.

Mclaren perhaps showing their hand somewhat? Like JB's first stint in FP1 in Germany.

For those who understand German can follow it with comments and pictures at AMS. No timed lap only from Ferrari boys and Bianchi

They showed the incident that led to PM running in the gravel - he almost hit a Caterham or something when trying to overtake him on the outside and ~50 km/h faster..

Maldonado is a moron.

Regardless of Heikki's speed you should be aware of this and not try and gung ho past him.

Qualifying and the race is what counts! As Schumacher used to say, quickest times in free practices are worth a golden ananas (or simply nothing)
