Anyone have any contact info on Al Long? He was a So Cal photographer in the late 50's and early 60's. Is said to be living in Arizona.

Look at the Indian Jewelry part of his Web site. It has a postal address and a telephone number. It may be out of date, but there it is.

Frank Monise was a mentor to many and I suspect Steve McQueen was aided by Frank Monise in his driving.

Jerry, thanks for posting those photos. Funny that you print the pic of Frank Monise and Steve McQueen. I was trying to track down Al for the original and to get his permission to use the photo. I just found out that he would now be 93 years young, I tried the phone number on his site but it is not working. Might be pushing it that he is still with us. I am making up some signage for the upcoming Rolex Motorsports Reunion and that is one photo in particular that I wanted to use. Frank's son Howard is also sending me some pics of his dad.

Mike: I wanted that picture to give to Frank Monise as a present. I asked Al Long for permission to give it to Frank. He gladly gave me permission and I am sure he would give you the same permission to use it as a display for your car.

Al Long was a great photographer and his work should be seen. He didn't take the picture of himself with Frank and Steve McQueen it was taken by his friend Hector Pimentel.. I am sure Hector would allow you to use it.
