You guys might enjoy this newly published article about Tyrrell 004, which Jackie Stewart drove in the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix to a fourth place finish.

Seems like 1970 was the year for designing racing cars in bedrooms, apart from the Tyrrell and the Connew were there any other Grand Prix cars designed in bedrooms ?

:up: Wow, what a great car, site, photographs, and text! I believe that's the same car that ran at Road America in 2002.

(Artti, I built my 004 in my bedroom in around 1976 but suspect that doesn't count. ;) )

Like I built a M23, TS16, 312T, '78 and numerous 935's your right that is not what I was thinking :lol:
