Richie Jenkins has a thorough and interesting website listing former drivers and where they now are, and I wonder if there'd be interesting in a WATN motorcycle racer thread rather than have individual posts dotted throughout the forum?

I'm presently reading the excellent Seeley book COLIN SEELEY.....AND THE REST and two names keep cropping up in the book - Alan Barnett and Dave Croxford. Where are they now? Here's some more - Joe Dunphy, Ray Pickrell and Kel Curruthers.

This months Classic racer has a piece on Joe Dunphy and the Greeves connection and features a recent picture of a well and smiling Joe.

Dave Croxford still turns out for parades on Norman Whites Nortons , I think Kel is still in the States , not sure on Alan Barnett , though....................

I heard from a friend who had been in touch with him that Alan Barnett lives somewhere down around the New Forest area and has no interest in motorcycles nowadays.

that's rather a shame for us , Paul , can understand his thoughts though , always a neat , tidy and quick rider

Probably neighbours with Mike Thackwell who appears to live down that way and apparently has little interest in racing cars these days

Kel is alive and well and living in southern California. He is still quite active showing up at many events, though he is retired now. His son Paul is stil the editor of the weekly Cycle News mag, now just digital but very well put together (www.cyclenews.com).
