Will his racing experience at Brand Hatch will help him in the Paralympics? I think so especially on the track elevation. Nonetheless, He's a great guy and I really respect him. Gold medal for Zanardi!

I was a fan of his before the accident but I am a bigger fan after the accident. Go for the Gold!

Haha, probably not. It's a cool story though, especially for people who might not've heard of Zanardi.

I have soft spot for Alex from early years. Fantastic, agressive driver, but very inventive in overtaking. (Including occassional application of a strategy resembling construction vehicle, better known as a buldozer). :D

Wish him nothing but the best of luck.

From the moment he survived his accident he has been nothing but an awe inspiring role model about how to deal with the tough breaks in life.

What can I say but simply that Alex is a true legend. I wish him all the best. That the race is at Brands Hatch is wonderful too, as Alex will always be a racing driver first.

They gave it a big build up a couple of hours back but, like you, can't seem to find it anywhere.

Fantastic, Zanardi's given us a true heartwarming story :)

Just a shame Channel 4 decided not to broadcast any of the road cycling. Great job as usual  Be glad they never got their hands on F1!

Here in Italy RAI Sport played the whole thing.
The bar here in Lecce erupted in cheers and tears for Sandro.

Can't say I am surprised though..
The guy is a born winner.

I was 13 when he won his first CART championship and as a kid I looked up to him. I am so thrilled for him. Please Chip, give him an Indy 500 drive. :)
