The Spice Engineering team of Gordon Spice and Ray Bellm won the 1986 Group C2 World Championship for Drivers in the singleton Spice SE86C (chassis 001). Spice Engineering did enter a second car for Le Mans that year but it didn’t appear. Ecurie Ecosse won the Group C2 Championship for Teams.
Thanks!
Was the team championship Euurie Ecosse won by the single car (chassis 001)?

No, the Ecurie Ecosse team scored points with two cars. However, the main reason that Spice Engineering won the C2 Drivers’ Championship and Ecurie Ecosse the Teams’ Championship was that some of the 1986 C2 races counted only for the Drivers’ Championship, not the Teams’ Championship.
Thanks again.
The reason I ask is that our car P 4/5 Competizione KERS is currently leading the FIA World Championship Alternate Energy Cup Class 7. We have one more race to go which will likely be on October 27Th at the Ring. I was wondering if any single car has ever won an FIA World Championship for a Constructor (in this case Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus) as we may this year.

Ah, in that case don't worry any more about Group C2 in 1986. From 1985 to the end of the Group C era points were awarded to teams, not constructors. Good luck!
Thanks!
So if we were to win with our one car team as a Constructor that would be a first?
