What's up, boys? I'm up early today and bored.

Yep, it's a night race (actually starts in daytime) the same day as SPA and the Baltimore Grand Prix. Good luck convincing your Significant Other that it's absolutely vital to watch all three. Got any tips? My main one is that it's a three day weekend here in the States and we can do whatever she wants on Monday.

On to the details!

Tune in sched: http://www.nascar.com/races/tune_in/

Indycar at Baltimore (why do people still call it IRL? Are they still upset about the split?)

C'mon man, it's SPA!!

Only if you were comparing a Darlington or Watkins with a Bahrain or a Valencia, the NASCAR race would get my vote.

Trucks:
Paulie Harraka has been given the boot. Aric Almirola will take the #5 this weekend. Wauters Motorsport decided not to run at MIS and Bristol, and looks like they've decided internally it wasn't working out with Paulie at the helm.

Should be a fun truck race. Kurt's running a Phoenix Racing truck (where'd they get that from?) with brother Kyle (whos pulling triple-duty this weekend) in the KBM #18. BradK puts Ryan Blaney in his #29.
Apart from that, all your favorites are there, including JWT, whose trucks sponsor listing is still under TBA.
I mean come on, you and I both know it's Zaxbys. Are they too embarrassed to publish their name you think?

Hey I was the first person voting in this poll.

I'd have picked Baltimore because I was invited to go watch from a suite in a building outside of T1 but they flaked on me.

Baltimore, because you know it has the best chance for a breakout of crazy.

Though a Sunday Night NASCAR is good too, there's nothing else to do.

Hard to believe, but Kurt and Kyle have never run in the same Truck race together.

Pastrana makes his final scheduled NNS start of the season too.

We should have a betting pool on how many spins he has in the race, lap of the first spin, and lap-gap between subsequent spins.

Back in the day IRL was on Italian TV live, and one of the basic ones everyone seemed to have. I could always watch F1, MotoGP, and Indycar without any problem.

Wake up Sunday...have coffee and enjoy SPA ... best race of the year!
Watch (and nap) INDY in afternoon ... I live in Baltimore... not a chance i am going downtown to get killed for that...

Watch NASCAR till I fall asleep... fire up DVR Monday to see who won!

What an outstanding day of racing nirvana!!!

It's about damn time. I guess the Drive For Diversity checks stopped coming in.

It'll be a fast race, and you'll feel terrible having missed all the action. :p

I'm finding myself more and more interested in the Trucks and N'wide because I know for sure I'm catching some rising stars (namely the Dillons and Piquet) and the races are shorter and more interesting.

Main attraction of Cup now is the access to telemetry and radio transmissions.

Seriously. Probably 90% of success is what we experienced guys call "Managing Expectations."

Just kidding. I'm not experienced, but a couple more decades of successful management of expectations and I may get there.

Alright, I'm psyched for tonight. I'll be all raced out by Sunday evening so I have a feeling tonight's race will be my favorite NASCAR race of the weekend.

Reporting in, maybe. Maybe try a NASCAR-comeback after Montreal now. Though, just writing NASCAR and Montreal in the same sentence, still raises my heartbeat and makes me pissed.

Jesus Hillbilly Christ.

The 33 is sponsored by that Super PAC of supposed spec ops people who are pissy with the President. I know NASCAR leans conservative but come on guys, let's keep it out.
