That didn't happen a lot in recent races.

Lets hope for P4 . The lotuses are looking strong and wary of Button.

Vettel is looking a bit rattled though. He may let the pressure get the better of him and make a mistake

Such an important Q3, we HAVE to be close to Vettel and Hamilton must keep him off pole!

The MaCa is blazing fast! If Lewis can Quali better than Seb, Fernando can overtake Seb in the race!! IMHO. It's very clear to me the updates brought this weekend are definitely working.

Edit: Wow! Still have decent chance. Not as good as it once looked. Keep the faith!

Wow that looked better than expected for the longest time only to completely fall apart in the dying seconds :( On the plus side, Maldonado has Vettel in his sights.

So Williams is better, Lotus is better ... it doesn't matter how good we are in the race, when you start 7th ... you don't stand a chance

Should not have used the new front wing, I bet it was slower. Massa made a big mistake and was still less than 2 tenths behind in apparently a slower car. I don't think so.

What is strange is that everyone improved from Q2 -> Q3 we did not.

Everybody improved on their Q2 time except Grosjean and Alonso. I don't want to be too hard on him cause he's been outstanding this season but this is twice he didn't deliver in consecutive weekends during qualy.

Disaster.

They don't improve because Alonso delivers ever lap but the likes of Maldonado and Button screwed up their other laps.

Disaster. Our only hope is Maldonado crashing into Vettel tomorrow and a lightning start by Alonso. That is what we have been reduced to.

Sure, but I trust Alonso's driving more than Ferrari upgrades.

Redbull had to stop the car??

Bad session for us. Doesn't help having a Williams up there.

Need Vettel stopping on track to be something significant.

So now it is the updates fault?

Alonso didn't go any quicker than he did in Q2... While everybody else did.

Starting from 7th and under investigation. Ah well.

Updates looked fine in Q1 and Q2. In fact it looked really promising. Alonso just didn't improve his time. I'm a huge fan of his but this time I think he messed up.

Well Vettel stopped on the track so maybe he run out of fuel -> get on the back of the grid.
Though it looks miserable. Lotus is ahead (only because Grosjean choked, he is not ahead of both Ferraris). These "updates" doesnt work. Eventho I'm a fan of Lotus it is heartbreaking if Alonso, probably the driver that deserves this year title the most will lose it due to total incompetence of Ferrari development team.

Grosjean is under investigation for being released into the path of Alonso. Don't worry.

It's not about Alonso, it was clear that he was fighting with the car, the speed just wasn't there in Q3, there might be multiple causes for that, we didn't make the tires click, something wrong with the setup ... etc but I am sure the problem is not Alonso

Alonso did two 41.5 laps and a 41.6. When you have a guy like Alonso driving the car it's generally fair to say that is the speed that was in the car. That was the speed in the Ferrari/Alonso package today and it wasn't good enough. Simple. Whether it was Alonso, the car or a bit of both doesn't matter. Win as a team, lose as a team.

We did not improve because we showed everything in Q2,Alonso last 3 laps were 1.41.5 there was nothing more in the car. Yeah i know after Q1 and Q2 it was looking good but..

Force majeure?

said that Renault asked Vettel to stop the car... maybe alternator issue (well they shouldnt be allowed to fix anyway, so even if it is, it will fck up during a race)
